I am sure you can find a million and one books online to read that will fuel the fires of your inner Divine Feminine, but where to start?

I have always been a Feminist by nature — I was born asking why I was being treated differently; although I couldn’t name it [grooming], I knew it was wrong. For the longest time, that alone was enough for me. My own existence was always enough for me to connect to those that endured before me, and just knowing that there were others like me out there somewhere was enough to keep my chin up. I never did extensive reading, not for lack of interest but lack of access. Though I am sure it’s different in some ways now, where I come from some books existed only by their title and author in the card catalogue, and somehow always on-lend — a place that hardly knows what happened during the Civil Rights Movement [nevermind Woman’s Suffrage], where they don't ban books, but they “must not carry that title” either. Since then, I’ve read a few titles and added many more to my To-Be-Read list. [The one that just keeps getting longer…]

Perhaps that makes me a bad feminist, but it can get overwhelming when you’re thrusting yourself into something without a guide. Of course, every influencer thinks they have it right and…
